Sunday School Classes at Community Bible Church

Sunday school is an integral ministry of Community Bible Church. It provides an important time for spiritual training, discussion, and interaction. Classes are offered for all people from pre-school age through adults. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers during the Sunday school period.

Youth Classes

We are committed to the spiritual development of all young people who take part in the activities of Community Bible Church. Because of this commitment, our church has developed a special Sunday school curriculum. The intent of this curriculum is to provide continuity and completeness in the Biblical training of our youth. The curriculum focuses on the truths found in God’s word, as well as the practical application of those truths.

For each grade level from kindergarten through grade 5, weekly lessons have been developed to systematically teach through the Bible. Essential truths about God and our relationship with Him are taught and reinforced.

Middle school and high school classes study specially selected topics on a quarterly basis. These topics are designed to provide youth with a balanced, well-rounded exposure to God’s truth and how it relates to their everyday lives.

As young people progress through the different class levels, they will receive a strong, positive, spiritual foundation to help guide them throughout their entire lives.

Adult Classes

Adult Sunday schoolAdult Sunday school classes provide an opportunity for learning and interaction focused on Biblical issues and truths.

Each quarter several different classes are offered. Adults can select whichever class they prefer to attend. Topics will also vary.

Classes are designed to encourage Christians in their spiritual walk. As we study and discuss God’s word together, our goal is to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Classes also provide an avenue for fellowship and developing closer relationships with others in the church. As these relationships are strengthened, we will be better equipped to serve Christ and to serve one another.

Current Classes being offered for Adults are:

Examples of just some of the issues which will be discussed from these books include forgiveness of others, encouragement, grace, God’s sovereignty, guarding against pride, and dealing with false teaching and false teachers.
